Mañez y Lozano, S.L. is recognised as a leading global brand in the agricultural spraying sector, backed by more than 20 years in the Official Register of Agricultural Machinery (ROMA). We have consistently set the benchmark for innovation, replacing outdated systems still used by others with advanced, efficient, and intelligent spraying technology.
Founded in 1961 as Mañez y Lozano Agricultural Treatments, the company began with a clear purpose: to deliver more effective phytosanitary solutions for farmers. Faced with the limitations of existing equipment, we designed and built our own machines, incorporating the highest-quality pumps available. Our dedication to performance and reliability led to the establishment of Mañez y Lozano S.L. Agricultural Machinery in 1976.
A major milestone in our history came in 1989, when we became the first European manufacturer to integrate electronic systems into turbo-sprayers, marking a turning point in precision agriculture and expanding our international reach.
Today, our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge CNC and numerical-control machining technology, allowing us to produce every major component in-house with exceptional accuracy, durability, and quality control. Our product range—including air blast sprayers, turbo sprayers and more—continues to evolve with industry-leading innovation at its core.
In line with our commitment to serving growers around the world, we have now expanded into Australia, opening a dedicated branch to support local farmers. This strategic move strengthens our global presence and ensures that Australian producers benefit from the same technology, service, and results that have made Mañez y Lozano a trusted name in more than 30 countries.
1980
We launched our first in-house-manufactured piston pumps. Some with direct drive and others with a reduction shaft drive, the only one on the market with its characteristics (it reduces the power absorbed by the tractor and reduces wear on friction parts)
1985
We manufactured the first sprayers for the application of agricultural phytosanitary products.
1989
We launched and patented the Sistromatic equipment , capable of detecting leaf mass and opening and closing solenoid valves when appropriate, saving a large amount of phytosanitary product and thus respecting the environment (other brands did not hesitate to copy the system when the patent expired)
1991
We launched the Tronic system , an intelligent device capable of applying treatments in liters per hectare with unmatched precision, even for current systems.
1992
We launched the Herbitronic equipment on the market , with the technology and precision of the Tronic equipment, indicated for treatments with herbicide bars and low crops
1995
We computerized the Sistromatic equipment by incorporating a CPU capable of reporting the number of trees treated, liters applied per tree, liters applied per minute, and liters consumed or remaining in the tank.
2001
We launched the anti-pollution charger that is currently being installed on the market.
2007
We started the project to manufacture our own multiplier group, clutch, propeller and nozzles for our sprayers.
2008
We started to set up our own air groups in our teams .
2009
We designed the Twister air outlet system with multiple nozzles, which forces air out of the nozzle in a spiral shape, achieving greater penetration into the leaf mass and better wetting of the backs of the leaves.
2010
We formalized the corresponding patent and launched the Twister air group in its various versions onto the market with great success
2011
We designed, patented, and manufactured a rear leaf guard that prevents the fan from drawing in aphids, thrips, mites, etc., from spraying them onto the trees.
2017
We are launching our new line of polyethylene tanks, featuring easy rear access for maintenance of the multiplier and rear transmission.
