The term Twister describes a rotating meteorological phenomenon — a spiraling vortex of air. Inspired by this natural force, the Twister Air System was designed and patented to replicate the cyclone effect within agricultural spraying equipment. This innovation allows the airflow to penetrate deep into the tree canopy, achieving 100% effective treatment coverage where traditional systems fall short.
The twister spiral system generates spray directly at the air outlet, maintaining movement within the vegetation and preventing the shielding effect that blocks airflow and liquid from reaching the inner leaves. This system also reduces liquid runoff, preventing waste and minimising environmental pollution.
To complement this innovation, a new nozzle holder was engineered to operate with up to three nozzles simultaneously — set at different angles to achieve 145º coverage, compared to just 45º in conventional systems.
The combination of the Twister Air System and multi-angle nozzle holders delivers uniform, precise coverage both inside and outside the canopy, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and environmentally responsible crop protection.
